Celebrate and give back to australia

Sunday, January 26th from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm EST

The Tampa Bay Tiger Sharks will be celebrating Australia Day at the Walkabout Aussie Bakery Cafe, our premier sponsor!  Donations will be made to the Red Cross and WWF Australia.

Join us for live music, a friendly handball comp with some rugby players, a petting zoo with kangaroos, cold beer, plenty of tucker (sausage rolls and pies!) and a whole bunch of Aussies!

Australia Day is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on the 26th of January, it marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales, and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillip.

Celebration starts at 2:00 at Walkabout Aussie Bakery Cafe:

18430 Livingston Ave Lutz, Florida 33559

Bring cash for food, beverages, donations and games!

Meals at Ronald McDonald House

The Tiger Sharks will head to Tampa to prepare dinner for those families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  We will be making a classic Australian Chicken Parma. This one is a little different, no side of pasta, folks. Instead, the pubs in Australia serve it on top of "chips" (Americans call them fries).  And with salad, on the same plate. Trust me, it will be the best!

When: Saturday, February 29th from 6:00- 9:30 pm
